What gets serviced?
EVERYTHING visible and reachable gets serviced! From high areas like corner cobwebs and ceiling fans, all the way to low areas like outlets and baseboards.
**Common areas that are NOT usually visible nor reachable:
-Underneath beds used as storage -On top fridge used as storage -Behind bulk furniture against walls
-Shelves behind closed closet doors or cabinet doors -Inside closed drawers
*Staff are permitted to stand on; and are provided, a one foot step stool
*Staff are NOT permitted to open any closed doors, drawers or cabinets for safety and security purposes
-All areas with doors, drawers and cabinets open will be serviced upon arrival and shut when completed

The Magic Maid Method
Staff members complete dry work first before conducting wet work, and then finish with floor work while starting from the back of the house and working their way towards the main entrance/exit.

Wet Work
Bathrooms/Kitchen:

All Rooms As Needed:
-Sweep
-Vacuum
-Mop (Warm Water + Antibacterial Dawn Dish Soap)

Other Services Available



Dishes/Laundry
Extra time can be added on to hand wash dishes or load the dish washer. Drying and putting them away can also be conducted.

Putting clothes in the washer and then dryer will require more time. Folding and putting them away is also an option.

Pet Care
While away for vacations or business functions, staff can assist care for clients house pets while gone. Tasks performed for pet care include but not limited to:
-Water Refills
-Food Refills
-Outside Potty Breaks
-Short Walks
-Acute Playtime

Extreme Organizing
Over crowded dressers, closets, cabinets, pantries, garages, etc. need adequate time to bring each area to satisfactory.
Options for bins and labeling can be included upon request.

Turning a mess into a masterpiece is what The Magic Maid LLC accomplishes at each clean provided to our amazing clients!! Taking pride in our hard work is the secret to our Magic!!

Service Area:
-Consistent weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleans must be within 20 miles of the Kettering, OH commercial office

-Quarterly and One-Time Only Deep Cleans are able to be serviced up to 50 miles from the office with a $1/mile fee starting after 20 miles
​
-Cleans are unavailable to areas 51+ miles away from the office
Staff Member Guidelines:

- Everything visible gets serviced as needed

- Doors & drawers that are shut upon arrival, stay shut
​
- Items considered trash/waste: used tissues, empty food wrappers, empty beverage cans/bottles, broken/unusable items, etc.
​
- Unable to lift items/furniture that are too heavy to lift with one hand
​
- Unable to stand on anything higher than a one foot step stool
- Shoes must be worn at all times. **Shoe covers worn upon request

- Able to refuse clean-up for: Biohazard Waste(Urine/Feces), Smoke Damage, Water Damage(Mold), Hazardous Hoarding(Trash build-up) & Bug Infestation

Other major cleaning companies require their employees to reuse supplies as often as possible to save on costs. This means that items like sponges and brushes being used to clean your residence were also used to service other clients homes that same day or from other recent days. Here at The Magic Maid LLC that is considered cross contamination, so staff are instructed to use brand new sponges at EVERY clean, and to properly sanitize brushes to ensure no cross contamination occurs.

We also go the extra step for proper sanitation and use different sponges for the bathroom and kitchen areas.
